This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Elden Ring features over 300 weapons, more than 500 Armor pieces, and 8 different Stats. This means that there are many unique builds that you can come up with and combine with each other. Furthermore, since there is a NG+ system in the game, you may not want to play with the same build if you play again. In this case, you can respec your stats to create different builds and try new things in Elden Ring.

In order to Respec in Elden Ring, you must first gain access to the Raya Lucaria Academy in the Liurnia region. There will be plenty of sorcerers in this area, so you should be prepared for that. Here you must first kill a mini-boss called Red Wolf of Radagon and then Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, one of the main bosses of the game.

After you defeat Rennala, she becomes friendly and you can interact with her at any time, just like the NPCs in Roundtable Hold. When you give Rennala a Larval Tear in Elden Ring, you can Respec your character. There are a total of 17 Larval Tears in Elden Ring, so if you haven’t accumulated them from your previous NG+, you have 17 ways to Respec your character.

Knowing how to Respec in Elden Ring is crucial. This is because there are many different weapons and spells that you can use in the game, and by resetting your character you can start using things that you didn’t have access to before. Especially after finishing the game completely and moving to NG+, many players want to respec their character and try different builds.

This is because when you complete the game, you gain access to many different powerful Spells and Weapons, such as the Starscourge Greatsword, Maliketh’s Black Blade, Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear, Meteorite of Astel, or Scarlet Aeonia. You may need different stats to use them, and that’s where Respec mechanics come into play.

To Summarize:

  1. To Respec in Elden Ring, you must first have Larval Tear, so find one before attempting to Respec first.
  2. Then head to Raya Lucaria Academy and kill the Red Wolf of Radagon and then Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon boss.
  3. After resting at the Site of Grace, you will see that Rennala is still in the boss room. Talk to her and select the Rebirth option.
  4. Finally, clicking “Yes” will give Rennala the Larval Tear and you’ll start selecting your stats again.

Well, folks, that’s all you need to know to Respec your character in Elden Ring. Good luck!
