If bachelorettes are your market, Amirah is a pretty solid romance choice in My Time at Sandrock. Hard-working to a fault, Amirah is the town’s resident artist and owner of the pottery shop Ceramic Gate. Her brother, Arvio, runs the town’s general store. Admittedly, Amirah’s not the easiest romance option in the game, but if you’re willing to put in the work, she’s a wonderful match for a dedicated Builder who’s willing to respect her and her ambitions in life.
Romancing Amirah in My Time at Sandrock: Do’s and Don’ts
Usually, Amirah can be found either inside or around her shop, the Ceramic Gate. Most of Amirah’s life revolves around her job, as she’s trying to rise up from her and her brother’s humble beginnings. You can earn her friendship by talking to her, playing Critters, or giving her gifts, but if you try to give her a Heart Knot as soon as you can, she’ll turn you down. The easiest way to get to her heart is to give her gifts and get close to her brother Arvio and her friends Heidi and Pablo, who form the Fleeting Youth Tea Society.
As far as gifts go, Amirah has an impressive array of Loved, Liked, and Neutral gifts, but we’ve compiled a list of her Loved gifts and their relationship bonuses:

How to Complete Amirah’s “Promise for a Rose” Mission
Eventually, once you’re close enough friends with Amirah and you ask her out during the Fleeting Youth Tea Society’s fireworks mission, you’ll get the side mission “Promise for a Rose.” This quest has you and Amirah agreeing to wait until you’re both more successful in your jobs before getting together. This quest has two objectives:
- Earn #1 Workshop
Earn the top spot in Workshop Reputation for a season.
- Go out with Amirah 4 times
Go out with Amirah 4 times in one season by using the “Play Date” interaction.
The easiest way to get the top workshop reputation in Sandrock is by doing commissions. You’ll want to take as many commissions as possible and ensure they get done and turned in on time. You’ll also need to ask Amirah out by using the “Play Date” interaction, which is only available once a week. Once you’ve achieved both objectives, you’ll get a massive relationship boost with Amirah, and just like that, you’re dating!
