A Plague Tale: Requiem is a game that can be played on different platforms. The Game was released on May 14, 2019, and was developed by Asobo Studio. The Game was set in 14th-century France and revolved around two siblings trying to escape from the clutches of the Inquisition during the Hundred Years’ War. This guide will show you how to save your progress in A Plague Tale Requiem.

What is A Plague Tale Requiem?

The much-anticipated sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence, A Plague Tale Requiem, is released on October 18, 2022. The Game picks up six months after the events of the first Game. Siblings Amicia and Hugo travel far from their home in France, searching for a permanent cure for Hugo’s affliction. Along the way, they will meet a cast of new and intriguing characters, including Lucas, Béatrice de Rune, Arnaud, Sophia, and Emilie. As in the first game, players will control only Amicia throughout the story. Spanning 16 chapters, A Plague Tale: Requiem promises an enthralling and suspenseful journey that fans of the series will not want to miss.

The Game autosaves at specific intervals, but there is no manual save option. Typically Game will be saved once you come into a new location. For example, the Game will autosave once you come down the ladder into the sewers.

The Gaming system of the Game is based on Check Points. You can see the Check Point save icon on the upper right corner of the screen, next to the mini-map.

Check Point saving system can be seen as a drawback for some gamers because if they die or want to quit the Game, they will have to start from the last Check Point.

For example, if you just killed a bunch of rats and obtained a new item but then died before reaching the next Check Point, you will have to kill those rats again.

This can be seen as a good thing or a bad thing. Some people may like it because it adds to the replay value and challenge of the Game. At the same time, Gamers may find it frustrating to redo certain sections.

So,  that is how you save your progress in A Plague Tale Requiem. The Game autosaves at specific Game intervals, but there is no manual save option. While the Game’s autosave system ensures that players do not lose any progress, it can also be seen as a drawback because players may have to start from the last Check Point if they die or want to quit the Game. Nevertheless, the Game is still worth playing because of the witty and intriguing storyline. Have you played this Game? What are your thoughts on it?

Plague Tale Requiem launches for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Nintendo Switch (cloud version), and PC via Steam on October 18, 2022.
