We hope you’re all ready for some PTSD because Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen also brings a new set of Sphinx riddles, or rather, Sage riddles. As part of the story, you’ll encounter a new creature that looks quite familiar to one we struggled with during the base game. The only difference is that these dungeons are much easier. Yet, if you’re still struggling to solve them all, here’s the solution to all Sage Riddles in Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen.
Riddle of the Body Solution

While you’ll be able to track all three riddles at once, we’ll start with the Riddle of the Body, which says the following:
“Pity the Fallen Dragon, for though its wounds may heal, ’tis ignorant of the pain it ought to feel. One giant that stalks this land shares its plight; for what it lacks in immortality, it makes up in might. Name it not, but fetch me a token of its being; for in this world, only seeing is believing. Yet visit first the place in Norgan where repose is easiest found; greet the dawn there, and the giant’s lament shall sound.”
The next thing you have to do is go back to the village and talk to all NPCs there, eventually finding Polyeidus. He’ll give you several clues about all riddles, not just this one.

After talking to him, go to the inn and sleep until it’s morning. After that, you’ll hear the giant’s roar, and all you have to do is pursue it and defeat it. You’ll get an item from it, go back to the Sage, and hand it over.
Riddle of the Soul
The next Sage riddle in Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is the Riddle of the Soul, another combat-oriented one. However, this one’s a bit tricky, as it says the following:
“Seek a blizzard that does not wane, whose chill savage blood doth freeze, wherein a red dragon that might have been wails with unease. Hearken to it, and know with surety that the soul of the Arisen unbound from others seeks liberty. Bear witness, and bring to me as proof of your deed a droplet of frosted crystal, her lifeblood in a bead.”
This one is even stranger than the above, but not too difficult to locate. Again, you can talk to the above NPC to get some clues, but what you’ll have to do is return to the Beorcan Stronghold, which is the one that has a permanent blizzard (part of the main story).

Once inside, it is important that you reach the location we marked on the map. If you’re having trouble finding it, head to the main gate that is locked, turn left, and drop down the hole that’s there; you’ll eventually reach the other side where the frost dragon is. Defeat it, and you’ll obtain the Frozen Wyrmslife Crystal.

Once you have it, return to the Sage to complete the riddle.
Riddle of the Will
This one is the easiest, as all you have to do is return to where you met the other Arisen, which is part of the event where you fight the immortal dragon. There, you’ll see a brooch on the ground.

Grab the brooch and return it to the sage to complete the riddle.
Once you do all three things, the story will progress, and you’ll have to visit a new area, but we won’t spoil that here. In any case, these riddles are much easier than those in the base game, and you’ll see the markers for all solutions on the map, except for the Will one; just travel to the portcrystal and enter the arena.
