While Stellar Blade‘s main focus is its combat, the game also has a few puzzles to test players’ wits, such as the Clock Tower one. After beating Abaddon and a few other foes, you’ll encounter a closed gate that requires a code, but not one you can find lying on some poor dead soldier’s inventory. No. This time, you need to sharpen your senses, do a bit of climbing, and remember that to solve this conundrum, time is of the essence.

Before you reach the Memory Tower area, you’ll need to solve the Clock Tower puzzle in Stellar Blade. After the cutscene, which clearly focuses on said building, you’ll start seeing a lot of human bodies on the ground. All of them reference “time” as if it were something important in this area. If you head down, you’ll spot several bodies with notes saying that “time” is the key to opening the gate. With that in mind, here’s how to solve this roadblock:

  1. Head to the lower part of the area where the Clock Tower is until you reach the locked gate.
  2. Turn around to face the structure and look at the time the clock is telling you this is the password.
  3. The clock stopped at 12:25, meaning the password to open the door is 1225.

Contrary to other puzzles, you can input the code without interacting with something first. Other gates and chests need you to find the password first before returning; this one doesn’t. Once you open the gate, you can use a pseudo-camp that doesn’t have a shop or music player but lets you recover your HP before moving to the next area. So, even if it isn’t the hardest puzzle in the game, remember to always look at your surroundings and listen to Adam’s tips to pass through any locked door you may encounter.
