Ever since the Business Job Pack was released in BitLife, it’s been relatively untouched for a few different reasons. Ultimately, building your own business from the ground up is pretty difficult, whether it’s in real life, or a game. That said, it can be confusing for players. In this case, BitLife doesn’t do well with explaining how a business works, or even how to run your own, so we’re left with more questions than answers. Though, once you figure out the basics, you open yourself up too many more money-making opportunities in-game.
Preparing For Your First Business in BitLife
Before you get started, there are a couple of things you can do to make your business creation just a bit easier. First of all, you want to get some decent grades. As you make your way through primary and secondary school, it’s important to hit the library and Study Harder as often as you can to boost your Smarts stat.
Once you’ve got your Smarts up pretty high, you should go to University to get a Marketing degree as soon as you graduate high school. At this point, you should also find a part time job so you can start saving money now. Once you’ve gotten your Marketing degree, head back into the Occupation tab and access the Education menu. From there, select Business School and apply. Follow the same steps you did in high school to keep your grades high.
How To Start a Business in BitLife
Now that you’ve got the schooling out of the way, it’s time to start up your first business. Head into the Occupation tab and access the Special Careers menu. From there, select the Business option. Here, you’ve got two choices. You can either acquire a pre-existing business, or start up a new business. Keep in mind that starting up a new business will be cheaper than buying an already existing one.
Be sure to pay attention to the demand of each industry. For instance, the demand for a Food Truck might be relatively low, and the demand for a Beauty Supply business could be quite high. We want to choose the industry with the highest demand so we know that our products will sell.
Before you pick your industry, check out the competition in each industry as well. You can do this by selecting each industry from the list. Under the demand bar, you’ll find the competition bar. You should aim to start a business in an industry that has high demand and low competition.
Once you find the right industry for you, choose it, choose how much you want to invest into the business, and start it up.
How To Choose New Products for Your Business
Before you begin your business, you need products to market do you can bring in some revenue. However, choosing the right products can be pretty difficult. First, you should perform market research on every product you’re thinking of selling.
Like the industry itself, before you pick any products to sell, you want to make sure that the demand for these items is high and there is little competition. Choose items that have high demand while competition is slow to recognize its potential. Start relatively small with one or two products to see how they do. If they show promise and growth, then you can add more products to your business later on.
The more of a profit you’re making off a product, the less likely they are to sell unless there is next to no competition around. That said, when you’re editing the production plan for each new product, mess around with the numbers, and don’t be afraid to introduce some trial-and-error tactics. Mess around with the numbers and see what works best.
