How to Stun Enemies in God of War: Ragnarok
The main thing you need to focus on is filling up your stun bar in God of War: Ragnarok. Beyond that, here is some more information on stunning enemies in God of War: Ragnarok:
- When you enter a fight, you’ll notice that the enemy has another bar directly below its health bar. This is the enemy’s stun bar. Every enemy has a stun bar, so it is possible to stun any enemy that you take on in battle.
- The enemy’s stun bar can be filled up by successfully landing hits on it. This can be done either through melee attacks or weapon attacks. The more you attack successfully, the faster the enemy’s stun bar will fill up in God of War: Ragnarok.
- When the stun bar is completely filled, the enemy will be unable to move for a moment, leaving it vulnerable to your attacks, so be sure to give it your all when the enemy is stunned.
- When you stun an enemy, you gain the possibility to perform a finisher on that enemy. If the enemy’s health bar is low enough when you stun in, you can make your way up to the enemy. If a finisher is possible, you will be prompted to hit the R3 button to perform a finisher, instantly killing the enemy.
- When you take on weaker enemies, stunning them in God of War: Ragnarok can produce an insta-kill without the need for a finisher.
- When you take on bosses and stronger enemies, the time in which the enemy is stunned is the perfect time to perform strong and special attacks on the enemy.
- You can also fill up the enemy’s stun bar by parrying its attacks.
- If you want to increase the stun duration of your enemies, the best way is to upgrade your Leviathan Axe and Blades of Chaos.
