It isn’t just Minecraft that lets you tame good boy wolves and have them tag along on your adventure—it’s possible in Roblox Dead Rails, too! These fearless pups can be a great additional to your survival, as well as something really cute to look at, given your circumstances. Of course, you can’t just go up to a wolf in Roblox Dead Rails and that’s that—you have to know how to tame it.
How to Tame a Wolf in Roblox Dead Rails
Whenever you’re chugging along in Dead Rails, you know how you can stick creatures like zombies into your train as fuel? Well, you may want to hold onto at least one if you want to tame a wolf. Really any corpse will do, so if you can spare one (or a couple, which I’ll get to), then you can quickly convince a wolf to join your side.

Here’s how to tame a wolf in Roblox Dead Rails the quickest way possible:
- Get a corpse. Any corpse will do, even zombie ones. These spawn frequently, so keep at least one in your inventory.
- When you see a wolf, drop a corpse in front of you.
- The wolf will run up to the corpse, start eating, then become non-hostile. You’ve just tamed a wolf in Roblox Dead Rails! It’s that easy!
Ideally, you want to drop the corpse before you try to get a wolf’s attention. I like dropping one, aggroing the corpse, then backpedaling so that the corpse is between me and the wolf.
Alternatively, you can pick up a corpse and hold it in front of you. The wolf will make a beeline for the corpse rather than you, provided you keep the corpse between you and the pup. Otherwise, they’ll just attack you.
One last thing—your wolf friend can be stuffed into your bag, just like an item! Oh, and you cannot tame werewolves so don’t try!
How Many Wolves Can You Tame in Roblox Dead Rails?
The fun part about taming wolves in Roblox Dead Rails is that you can have more than one. If you wanted, you could have an army of wolves. How cool is that?
As for the limit, there doesn’t really seem to be one. YouTuber peace plays had nearly 30 by my count. Packs tend to have two or three wolves, so as long as you have bodies to hand over, you can get pretty nuts with it. There are a bunch of videos on YouTube of people beating the game with an army of wolves!
