Call of Duty: Warzone Haunting event has started, and many players are enjoying their time slaying devil bosses and UFOs in the game. It’s nighttime in Al Mazrah, and who would have thought that there are horrors lurking in the dark? It’s true! If you deploy in this map now, there are a bunch of jump scares. But these frightening evil spirits are not always cool to see when you’re under pressure to find a weapon to fight an enemy in front of you. That’s why many are now looking to find a solution to this scary scene and screaming to remove the jump scares in Warzone and MW2 Season 6. Is it possible? We’ll see.

Can You Turn Off The Jump Scares in Warzone?

Yes, you can turn off the jump scares in Warzone and MW2 Battle Pass. There are currently two types of jump scares in the game, which are for Battle Pass and in-game chests. In the Battle Pass, a jump scare might appear when you open a new section and unlock its rewards. This is very predictable and not so scary. However, there are jump scares in the game in Warzone that appear when you open chests and loot places. Here’s how you can turn off the Battle Pass jump scares.

  1. Open the Battle Pass tab in Warzone or Modern Warfare 2.
  2. Press L2/LT to turn off the Battle Pass jump scares in Warzone and MW2.

Now while you can turn off the Battle Pass jump scares, the in-game ones remain in Warzone chests and lootable lockers. These jump scares are here to stay, and there’s no way you can turn them off at the moment. There’s also a description under the Battle Pass jump scare option section that says the in-game jump scares will not be affected by these settings.

It’s important to note that the recent small update of the game has resolved the issue of too many jump scares in Warzone. But should know that the frightening screams are still out there in hellish Al Mazrah. That being said, the jump scares the trigger when you loot a chest alone and away from the fight.

There are no official announcements about removing the jump scares from the game at the moment. And you can not turn down the volume of the screams in the settings with a separate slider. For now, all we can do is deal with the devil and enjoy Halloween in Call of Duty, even if it’s going to frighten us for picking a grenade off the ground.

Call of Duty: Warzone is currently available and free to play.
