If you’ve been playing Monopoly GO since its launch, you likely have many friends gathered to participate in various events. However, after a while, having so many friends stops becoming a pro and starts becoming a hassle. Maybe it’s time to start clearing up that list a little bit before you jump into the next event. But, do you know how to unfriend someone on Monopoly GO with ease?

How to Delete Friends in Monopoly GO

To delete friends in Monopoly GO, follow these instructions after you’ve opened up the game on your device:

  1. Click on the Friends selection on the bottom right corner of the main play screen.
  2. Click the Leaderboards category to see everyone on your friend’s list.
  3. Select the friend you wish to delete.
  4. In the new menu that opens up, click the three orange dots.
  5. You will be asked twice if you genuinely want to remove this friend.

You can simply repeat the process until you think your friend’s list is more cleaned up. I do recommend checking to see which friends you completed different events with simply because it’s likely you can count on them for help the next time you need it. However, friends who haven’t played in months or ones you only friended to be nice (we’ve all been there) don’t serve you any real in-game purpose.

Help, I Accidentally Deleted a Friend in Monopoly GO

Don’t fret! If you deleted a friend in Monopoly GO and want to add them back, follow these instructions instead:

  1. After going to the Friends selection, select the Add Friends option.
  2. You can add a friend from you contacts, a Facebook invitation, or an invitation link.

Now, the next time someone asks why they are no longer on your friend list, you can just add them right back!
