Monster Hunter Wilds is as much an extravagant fashion show as a hunting game. Carving better materials and forging new equipment? That means your aesthetic is ever-evolving. Thankfully, Capcom made it easy to throw yourself into fashion with accessories. Unlike weapons and armor, accessories offer no stat buffs or abilities. Instead, they’re all about helping your hunter look every bit the main character they are. Creating fashion combos with your weapons and Seikreit might not KO monsters, but it still makes you a stunner. Here’s how to unlock accessories for your weapons and Seikret in Monster Hunter Wilds.

One of the best parts of Wilds is the level of control it gives you over your hunter’s style and abilities. Everything from your hairstyle and armor to your Seikret and equipment can be personalized to your liking. While the game makes you grind for most of its goodies, that’s not the case with some fashion favorites.

You don’t need to do much to unlock most of the accessories in Monster Hunter Wilds. The majority are unlocked at the start of the game. So is the way you change them. Unlocking personalization options upfront helps hunters to look however they’d like during their grind to monster mastery. Now that you have accessories, here’s how to swap them:

  1. Go to your tent
  2. Open the Appearance Menu
  3. Navigate to your chosen submenu (Appearance, Equipment, Palico, or Seikret)
  4. Make your desired changes

Fortunately, your two weapons can have different accessories. That means your Hammer isn’t stuck rocking the same look as your Insect Glaive. While most accessories in Monster Hunter Wilds are unlocked from the beginning, you can obtain a few by completing certain quests. Since accessories don’t provide combat buffs, they’re purely cosmetic, but an extra trophy never hurt.
