Anyone familiar with the Like a Dragon franchise will instantly recognize the Job System. It’s a delightful spin on the traditional classes most RPGs have. Why would you want your character to be a Warrior or Tank when they can be an Action Star, Samurai, or a Hero? Those sound so much cooler. Once you unlock jobs in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, you’re open to change them as long as specific prerequisites are met. And there are plenty of jobs to explore.
Unlocking the Job System in Infinite Wealth
The Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Job System unlocks in Chapter 5 in Substory 31 “Let’s Get Alo-Happy.” At the shopping center, you and the crew will undergo a fun cutscene at a tourist business. Once done, you’ll unlock the first job, Aquanaut. From there, you’ll have to explore various unlock conditions for other opportunities.
Some Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth jobs unlock during the game like the Freelancer position Ichiban starts with. Some jobs are unique to specific characters or intended for either the men or women in your crew.
How To Change Jobs
Once you unlock Alo-Happy Tours in Infinite Wealth, you can change jobs at three locations:
- Hawaii
- Anaconda Shopping Center
- Worldwide Market Village, Waikiki
- Yokohama: Jinnai Station
If you don’t know where these areas are, you should check out your map. The booths for Alo-Happy Tours are labeled via a green palm tree icon, so they stand out rather well. Once you get to any of those locations, you can change to any Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth job you’ve previously unlocked.
