Argo and Vel is a new Melee weapon added to the cross-platform-play-supported hack-and-slash MMO Warframe. It is a pair of Duviri Mace and Shield that is wielded by the hulking Dax Malleus. Once you wield them yourself, you’ll learn that the weapon has several special properties. Blocking will activate its staggering energy shield. Power Strike knocks down enemies and inflicts Bleed. Perfect Parry restores your Power Strike. And in the Warframe version, Heavy Attack will send out a glaive that can ricochet off enemies. This Warframe guide will tell you how you can unlock Argo and Vel in the latest 2023 update.

To unlock the Argo and Vel weapon in Warframe, you have to buy the Drifter and Warframe Blueprint from Teshin’s Cave. The Drifter and Warframe versions can be acquired by spending 60 Pathos Clamps to purchase each Blueprint. But both versions of Blueprint can be acquired instantly by trading in 275 Silver. Afterward, more Warframe Argo and Vel Blueprint can be purchased from the Cephalon Simaris for 100,000 Standing.

Pathos Clamps themselves can be obtained after you have defeated the Orowyrm. This boss is the final enemy you will face at the end of each Duviri Cycle. You will gain 10 Pathos Clamps from the chest at the end of the level. But, with The Steel Path difficulty modifier active, you can gain 15 Pathos Clamps instead. Do keep in mind though, that the number of Clamps you acquire will not be affected by Resource Boosters.

With that in mind, you will want to farm Orowyrm around six times at the very least. r you and your friends can run it four times if you use The Steel Path modifier. Once you have owned the Blueprint, Argo and Vel can be crafted provided you have these materials:

  • 30,000 Credits
  • Silphsela x20
  • Rune Marrow x30
  • Kovnik x40
  • Aggristone x150

Most of the materials above can be found all over the Duviri open-world area. That’s everything you need to know to unlock the Argo and Vel melee weapon in Warframe. We hope that it does not take long for you to unlock the Duviri Mace and Shield weapon. Stay tuned at The Nerd Stash for more guides about Warframe and your other favorite multiplayer online games.
