Galandra, Karl, and Cider aren’t the only outcasts ready to take the fight to the Sun King. The last fighter you can recruit in Absolum is Brome, a mighty wizard who hides deep in the second area. However, contrary to Cider, you’ll need to make it through the first area and almost half of the second zone, which can be a daunting task for many players. And even then, there are a couple of things you need to do first before finding this wizard.
How To Recruit Brome
To recruit Brome in Absolum, you’ll need to reach Jaroba and encounter another character first, who also unlocks new features back at your base.

When you arrive at the second area, keep going until you find caged NPCs. Defeat the enemies and open all cages to free Vikhana the Joyful. She is the one in charge of putting your Inbued Fruits to work, but that’s a different topic.
After freeing her, she will mention how there’s a lone warrior in Jaroba, Brome. She will then depart for your sanctuary, and the quest to get Brome will activate, appearing on the map.

If this is your first time in Jaroba, all you need to do is follow the upper path. Even if you haven’t unlocked it, take the top road to reach Brome. Eventually, you’ll encounter a pack of enemy lizard-like foes, and Brome will heroically jump in to help you.

Defeat all the enemies, and Brome will talk to your current character, saying how it is time to join the fight and return to Uchawi. Continue your run normally and return to your hub to see Uchawi talking with Brome. After that, he will become playable, thus completing your team.
If you’re struggling to reach Brome in Jaroba, bringing mercenaries can be helpful, and you can always get one on the boat that takes you to this zone. It will cost 50 pieces of gold, so make sure to save a bit before disembarking. If you’re still having a hard time, you can always play with the assist options to decrease all the incoming damage, making your way to Brome much easier.
