Unlocking the Equilibrium Level at least to level 3 is important for your daily grind in Honkai Star Rail. As you increase your Equilibrium Level, you will get better loot from Calyx, Stagnant Shadow, Cavern of Corrosion, and Echo of War. Doing so also unlocks higher levels of Ascension phases, Light Cones, and Traces. But do keep in mind that the enemies in said Challenges will also become stronger! Without further ado, here’s how you can unlock higher Equilibrium Levels up to 3 in Honkai Star Rail.

In Honkai Star Rail, you need to complete a series of Trials of Equilibrium to unlock and raise your Equilibrium Level from 0 to 3. These Trials will become available once you have reached Trailblaze Level 20 and finished the “To Rot or to Burn” Trailblaze Mission. Speak with Pom-pom to see if the Trial can be accessed.

The first quest, “Trial of Equilibrium: Part One” will raise your Equilibrium Level to Level 1. As mentioned before, reach Trailblaze Level 20 and then interact with the Trial of the Equilibrium gate at the Robot Settlement in Jarilo-VI. You will then have to face a number of tough enemies:

  • Ice Out of Space x1
  • Everwinter Shadewalker x2
  • Searing Prowler x1
  • Incineration Shadewalker x2

Afterward, raise your Trailblaze Level to Level 30 to unlock “Trial of Equilibrium: Part 2.” Complete this challenge by going to the Corridor of Fading Echoes in Jarilo-VI to reach Equilibrium Level 2. This time around, you have to fight off:

  • Imaginary Weaver x2
  • Guardian Shadow x1
  • Everwinter Shadewalker x1
  • Incineration Shadewalker x1
  • Stormbringer x1

Lastly, to unlock Equilibrium Level 3 in Honkai Star Rail, reach Level 40 and prepare yourself for “Trial of Equilibrium: Part 3.” The Trial of the Equilibrium gate is located at the Great Mine in Jarilo-VI. The enemies that await you are:

  • Frigid Prowler x1
  • Voidranger: Reaver x2
  • Voidranger: Trampler x1

“Trial of Equilibrium” Universal Equilibrium Missions are mostly unlocked every time you raised your Trailblaze Level by 10 levels. But as seen below, the current level cap Trailblaze Level 70 doesn’t seem to offer an Equilibrium Trial. Instead, the last one appears at Trailblaze Level 65. Nevertheless, it’s possible that additional Equilibrium Levels will be added in the future with new content.
