You can unlock five Kameo fighters in Mortal Kombat 1 by progressing through the game. These fighters are needed if you want a different playstyle. And most importantly, there are no secret things to do in order to unlock them. That said, you can unlock Shujinko, Scorpion, Motaro, Sub-Zero, and Kung Lao as Kameo fighters in Mortal Kombat 1. Here’s how to unlock Kameo fighters in Mortal Kombat 1.
Unlocking Kameo Fighters in Mortal Kombat 1
- Level 5 – Scorpion
- Level 10 – Sub-Zero
- Level 15 – Kung Lao
- Level 20 – Shujinko
- Level 25 – Motaro
You can unlock the Kameo fighters like Shujinko and Motaro by progressing through the game and leveling up your profile in Mortal Kombat 1. This is your main account card that shows up on the top left corner of the main menu. And you can see your level and stats on it. Now if you reach certain levels, you’ll be able to unlock Kameos.
The addition of the Kameos is a totally innovative way of changing the gameplay in Mortal Kombat 1. These fighters each have their own set of abilities and you can summon them by pressing the RB/R1 button on Xbox and PlayStation controllers. If you get familiar with these fighters’ moves, you can combine them with your main fighter, and amplify your combos to deal more damage to your opponent.
How to Level Up Your Profile Faster in MK1
You can level up your Mortal Kombat 1 profile by playing the game’s different modes. If you’re offline, the best you can do is play the Towers and the story mode. But if you can join the online servers, you shouldn’t miss the Ranked Kombat League. Playing the Ranked matches puts you against new opponents that have the same level and skill as you do. And by progressing, you’ll face more professional players.
However, if you win, you’ll get a huge amount of XP to level up your account in MK1. Winning two or three matches will result in a level-up in less than 10 minutes. And even if you lose, you still gather a good amount of XP to level up and unlock the Kameo fighters in Mortal Kombat 1. Not to mention that playing ranked will also help you boost your character’s mastery tiers, thus unlocking different fatalities, outfits, and gear for them.
