Unlocking Mamba Mentality in NBA 2K24 is a tribute to the legendary Kobe Bryant. This unique perk replaces your Double Takeover and elevates every aspect of your game. However, obtaining this prestigious ability in MyCareer isn’t straightforward. There are a few sidequests to complete in the City, and these are not that easy. Moreover, players have reported being unable to access the gym, but you can try a few workarounds to unlock Mamba Mentality in NBA 2K24.

To unlock the prestigious Mamba Mentality perk in NBA 2K24, follow these steps:

Complete Your First Three Key Games in MyCAREER

  • Start by making your mark in MyCAREER by completing your first three Key Games.

Receive the Decelerator, Minimizer, and Second Chance Quests

  • Decelerator Side Quest: Head to Brickley’s Gym, located near the Arena. Engage in 3v3 and 5v5 scrimmages. Completing this quest not only earns you the Decelerator Perk but also rewards you with 750 VC.
  • Minimizer Side Quest: Unlock the Minimizer perk. Achieve a three-star rating in any drill. Upon completion, you’ll receive 750 VC.
  • Second Chance Side Quest: This quest takes you back to Brickley’s Gym. Your challenge here is to finish a game with 50 combined points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals. While it may be a bit challenging, the reward is worth it: 750 VC and the Second Chance Perk.

Complete the Mamba Mentality Quest

  • Once you’ve conquered all three side quests, you’ll be ready to tackle the Mamba Mentality quest in MyCareer itself. It’s not overly difficult, but it might require some time for newcomers to NBA 2K24.

Unlock the Mamba Mentality in MyCareer

  • Head to the Promenade on the Silver Deck and find Pippa, recognizable by her green T-shirt with a yellow exclamation mark.
  • Talk to Pippa, and she will assign you various quests.
  • Continue talking to her until she gives you the objective to speak with Captain Samuel, titled Onward and Upward.
  • Captain Samuel, near the Deuces, will task you with the Workout in the Gatorade Training Facility objective.
  • Completing this objective will grant you one Gatorade Boost.
  • Return to Samuel to receive an objective to talk to Tomas near the Trips.
  • Tomas will provide you with an objective: win a game against Pippa in MyCourt at the Gold Deck.
  • After securing victory in a 1v1 basketball game against Pippa, you will earn the prestigious Mamba Mentality perk in MyCareer as your reward.

Now that you have completed all the side quests, it is time to channel your inner Koby Bryant and dominate the NBA courts.

NBA 2K24 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
