The hideout is back for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, which means there will be a bit of grinding to unlock some of its buildings and facilities. Of all of them, there are two useful ones that might not be your priority at first, but should be. We’re talking about the Treasure Dealer and Fisherman’s Wharf in Black Flag Resynced, which are excellent for generating passive income, gathering materials, and even restoring treasure maps. Here we’ll tell you how to unlock them.
How To Unlock the Treasure Dealer & How It Works

The Treasure Dealer will become available to unlock as soon as you complete the “This Old Cove” quest in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. You can head to the docks and find the NPC who can restore this building for 5,000 Reales. Once you pay the price, it will become available for you and offer you the following items and services:
- Restore Weathered Map (Requires 6 map pieces, 150 Spice, and 500 Reales)
- Restore Tattered Map (Requires 3 map pieces, 200 Sugar, and 500 Reales)
- Restore Yellowed Map (Requires 10 map pieces, 100 Aloe, and 500 Reales)
- Restore Digested Map (Requires 2 map pieces, 200 Rum Barrels, and 500 Reales)
- Restore Preserved Map (Requires 4 map pieces, 150 Tobacco, and 500 Reales)
- Matched Golden Swords (Legendary Cutlass/Deer Hide x8, Crocodile Leather x12, Sugar x50)
- Masterwork Blades (Legendary Rapier/Wild Pig Hide x6, Rabbit Pelt x4, Aloe x30)
- Peaceful Means (Legendary Pistol/Capuchin Monkey Pelt x3, Iguana Leather x4, Rum Barrel x20)
- Black Pearl (Legendary Trinket/Wine x60, Spice x40, Tobacco x30, Aloe x20)
On top of the above, you can also purchase materials for crafting purposes, which you’ll find in the last tab.
How to Unlock the Fisherman’s Wharf & How it Works

Contrary to the Treasure Dealer, the Fisherman’s Wharf in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is a bit simpler in terms of its functionality. To unlock it, you must meet the same requirements as the ones for the Treasure Dealer, which is completing the quest we mentioned above. Then, you also need to pay 5,000 Reales to get it working. Once you have it, you’ll also get more passive income for your hideout, but you’ll also obtain more materials from sea animals, which means that everything you fish will yield more skins and bones, which are great for purchasing certain weapons and Jackdaw upgrades.
In terms of which one you should prioritize more, we recommend going for Fisherman’s Wharf first, mainly due to its increased material yields. After that, and once you have more map fragments, get the Treasure Dealer, as you’ll want to focus on pursuing these treasures during the late parts of the game.
