For a 2D game, Dead Cells is quite elaborate with many systems, and things to do, collect and upgrade. The way to unlock the Hollow Knight outfit in Dead Cells isn’t too complicated, and it is a nice tribute to the first game. You’ll need to do some exploring though, but here are the steps to get it:
- Travel to the Prisoner’s Quarters
- Wait for a Lore Room to spawn
- Head inside the Lore Room and interact with the bench
- Collect the Pure Nail when it spawns
- Use the Pure Nail to bounce 8 times
- Once you’ve done all these steps, you’ll be able to get the Hollow Knight outfit in Dead Cells.
This is amazing as both games have been great in the whole 2D gaming community. Plus, it is a nice outfit to have while we get Hollow Knight: Silksong sometime this year. This last game was teased a while ago, and the fans behind the first title are eager to know more about it. Hopefully, we’ll get more news soon.
