Sausage is a unique item in HoloCure – Save the Fans video game, and players want to know how to get one. HoloCure is a fanmade game based on virtual YouTubers working under the Hololive Production agency. Virtual YouTubers, or VTubers, are online content creators that use virtual avatars as their persona. VTubers have become increasingly popular, with the Japanese-based Hololive leading the forefront of VTuber content. HoloCure isn’t associated with Hololive, instead using the likeness and personalities of several of the biggest VTubers working for the agency. The title is a passion project and is completely free to the public.
What Is the Sausge Item in HoloCure – Save the Fans?
HoloCure features various wacky items for players to collect. The game is meant to emulate the colorful designs VTubers usually display online. Sausage is a melee weapon that you can you use in HoloCure. The Sausage is attached to a fork that you can use to swing at enemies.
The Sausage weapon only works when enemies are in range. When a target is near you, the weapon will swing a small sausage toward the closes enemy. You can level up the Sausage six times, the highest level being past Level 6, aka Level Max. When the item reaches Level Max, it will gain a 2-hit combo.
The Sausage weapon is a reference to Sausage Legend mobile title. VTuber Oozora Subaru popularized Sausage Legend through her online streams. Subaru is one of the 38 playable VTubers in HoloCure.
Where To Get the Sausage?
You unlock the Sausage weapon in HoloCure by defeating the final boss in Stage 4 – Gelora Bung Yagoo. The stage is the one that looks like the Minecraft Sports Venue hosted by Hololive Indonesia members in 2022. You unlock Gelora Bung Yagoo by completing Stage 3 – Halloween Castle.
HoloCure is a roguelike game. You take control as one of 38 VTubers and must blast your way through waves of enemies on a map. There are several game modes to play through, including an Endless Mode. However, to unlock the Sausage, you need to play through the game in Stage Mode.
Stage Mode has you face off against waves of enemies in a stage under a time limit, with new enemies and bosses spawning at different timeframes. Gelora Bung Yagoo has both mini-bosses and bosses spawning at different times. Udin is the boss that spawns at the 10-minute mark of the stage. Moontato, UFOFI, and Risusaurus are the other bosses on the map, and they appear at the 20-minute mark.

HoloCure – Save the Fans was originally available on Itch.io before launching on Steam on August 16. The game is free-to-play and available in three languages – English, Indonesian, and Japanese.
