One of the many new items added in the “Gods Revels, Lands Tremble” update of Patch 6.3 in Final Fantasy XIV is the Yakaku Glamour Set. This cosmetic gear set is composed of five pieces, including the Yakaku Kamidome, Yakaku Dogi, Yakaku Koshita, Yakaku Geta, and Yakaku Fundoshi. Like any Glamour Set in FFXIV, the Yakaku Outfit can be worn by all Classes and features a different appearance for male and female characters. The outfit strongly resembles traditional apparel from the country of Japan and is a perfect style to sport when taking screenshots in Shirogane, the Residential District of Hingashi.

Quest for Unlocking Yakaku Outfit in FFXIV Final Fantasy XIV

To unlock the Yakaku Set in Final Fantasy XIV, Warriors of Light must complete the Side Quest “An Auspicious Opportunity,” given by Mehdjina at Old Sharlayan (X: 11.8, Y: 9.8). This quest is part of the questline Tataru’s Grand Endeavor Quests, meaning that “Small Business, Big Dreams” is prerequisite that must be fulfilled before “An Auspicious Opportunity” can be accepted.

Completion of “An Auspicious Opportunity” will take roughly 50 minutes or longer, depending on how fast players read through the quest dialogue. This quest involves meeting with the Four Lords from the Stormblood expansion. During the mission, players must aid in a negotiation regarding a potential partnership with Tataru Taru’s Boutique. However, business is not easy, as participants discover a fraudulent businessman and must reveal the truth to the public. “An Auspicious Opportunity” involves having NPCs accompany the player protagonist, so Warriors of Light must ensure they do not wander too far from their companions’ limited traversal boundaries.

Nevertheless, once players resolve the conflict, they will eventually help Tataru finalize the boutique’s new partnership. As expected, the Warrior of Light protagonist’s help will not go unrewarded, as quest participants will be given the Yakaku Set as appreciation for their effort in FFXIV. According to YouTuber Meoni, one excellent feature of this Glamour Set is its ability to be dyed with different colors. As a result, players can don a variety of colorful new looks with this one outfit in FFXIV. Dyes can be purchased from NPC Vendors in the main cities and exchanged using exclusive currencies with certain factions, or they can be procured from the player-shared Marketplace.

Final Fantasy XIV is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
