Who’d have imagined that combining swords and dodgeball into one sport would be such a fun time, huh? Yes, Wiggity’s tactical action experience is all about good timing, thoughtful strategy, and utilizing lots of special abilities that can turn the tide of battle in a snap. One ability that’s been added recently is pretty OP so you’ll want to know how to wield it. So, for those wondering how to use Flash Counter in Blade Ball, here’s what you need to do.

How to Unlock Flash Counter in Blade Ball

First things first, to unlock the Flash Counter ability, you’re going to need to head into the shop in the game’s menu and unlock it for 12,500 Coins. Once you’ve purchased it, make sure to equip the powerful ability as well.

Using the Flash Counter Ability

In essence, the Flash Counter ability is very powerful as it teleports the user behind the player who last hit the ball, while speeding up the ball, and freezes your opponent for a short window as well.

It’s very similar to the Raging Deflect ability, but it also teleports you behind your combatant at the same time. Overall, it’s easily one of the most OP abilities in the game. Here are a few tips to help you use it:

  • Using the Flash Counter ability when you first start your back and forth rally with your opponent is a very effective strategy as this ability is most effective when your target least suspects it. In other words, when the ball is quite slow in the air, Flash Counter is a viable option.
  • On the other hand, using Flash Counter when the ball is really fast during a clash is another totally viable option as the speed of the ball becomes very hard to defend against.
  • Try to combine the ability with curveballs by hitting the ball when you’re at an angle.
  • Its cooldown is quite long, so we recommend only using it when you’re sure that it will catch your opponent off guard.
  • When you have the funds, we highly recommend upgrading the Flash Counter ability as it helps boost the speed of the ball, freezes targets for longer, and decreases the cooldown as well. Thing is, it costs 6,250 Coins and can only be upgraded once.

So, there you have it. We hope this helped to clue you in on how to use the Flash Counter in Blade Ball. For even more tips, tricks, and guides, you’re in the perfect place at The Nerd Stash.
