Jewels are attractive, whether it’s in reality or a video game like Dragon’s Dogma 2. There are three jewel items in Dragon’s Dogma 2 called the Jasper, Tiger Eye, and Onyx. Each one of these has a high value in the game, but did you know that they have a secret usage, too?

  • Tiger Eye: As you progress through the game, you’ll find a type of Goblin called the Choppers. These foes may drop you an Onyx, or Tiger Eye, and they’re commonly found in the Vernworth.
  • Jasper: You’ll find Jesper in the Bakbattahl area in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
  • Onyx: You can find this item in Trevo Mine and Vernworth. Besides chests, Goblins may also drop the Onyx.

With Onyx, Tiger Eye, and Jasper in your pocket in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll have two options: Sell them or use them. A jewel’s worth is good enough to charge you up for an upgrade. Or you can just use them as gifts, and give them to your partners.

Gifting these items to your NPC friends will make them so happy that they might even bond a relationship with you! This is your chance to use valuable items like Jasper and gift them to gain romance with your favorite character in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

To gift an item to the NPCs, you’ll need to enter a dialogue with them. Then, you’ll find an option simply called “Gift.” If you want to sell the jewel, however, just find one of the vendors in any area you’re in, and grab the cash.
