Black Ops 6 allows you to participate in a 90s-themed action movie, where you can dive with a shotgun and shoot midair. But the cool thing about the movie is that all the other players are also participating in it. Treyarch has done a fantastic job by introducing many new features in Black Ops 6, including using the enemy force as a human shield by taking them hostage.
The addition of finishing moves in Modern Warfare 2019 was a blast for Call of Duty fans. If you land a finisher on them, a cool animation of your operator roughly dealing with the target would be played, humbling the one who was trash-talking in the lobby. MW3 Season 5 Reloaded took things to the next level by introducing WWE slam attacks, allowing Rey Mysterio to do a Running Bulldog on Captain Price. But there’s more.
If you double tap R3/RS – melee button – when you’re behind the enemy in Black Ops 6, your operator will take the opponent hostage, using them as a human shield (My settings are on X/A as melee here in this shot). Imagine doing this to Brutus. Now if you hold the R3/RS, still, you’ll be able to perform the classy Call of Duty-style finisher move.
While you’re patting the opponent on the back and using them as if they’re the Lamball in Palworld, your proximity voice chat activates. This is where you get to record those funny clips when the enemy says leave me alone and you’re just dealing with business, allowing their teammates to land as many bullets as they can on their body.
Now while you have a human shield covering you, your movement speed will obviously be limited, and you can not ADS for sure. However, if you feel things are getting chaotic and you need to run out of the situation, it’s easy to finish off the target and return to normal gameplay. A quick finish with a shot or a finisher? Your call.
