If your squad won’t get the job done, you must learn how to use Reinforcement Flares and the field update in the latest upgrade for Warzone 2. This latest field update in Call of Duty: Modern Warzone 2 is crucial to winning the game if you know the best moment to use it. Have you ever heard the phrase “together we stand, divided we fall”? Well, this is critical to keeping the squad members together. Of course, its boost is not unlimited, so make sure you know where to get Reinforcement Flares to have an even better chance of making it to the end with the best of them.

To unlock Reinforcement Flares, participate in the Season 4 event called “Assault on Vondel.” This limited-duration event presents several challenges, one of which you must complete to unlock the Reinforcement Flares.

Plus, by completing the community challenges and collecting the medals, you will obtain the New Melee Weapon: Tonfa, as well as Trams, Taxis, and Boats.

How to Use Reinforcement Flares in Warzone 2

The Reinforcement Flares is an innovative tactical upgrade in Warzone 2 that, when activated, allows you to reintegrate a random member of your previously selected squad into battle.

That means you won’t be able to choose to save the player with the best abilities, but the game will automatically revive whoever it touches. Although it works randomly, this opportunity is still precious in the revival mode in which you are out of the game when your entire team is eliminated. You can also get Reinforcement Flares in Warzone 2 in Warzone mode. As you can imagine, the more flares you get, the better.

To use them, simultaneously press the following buttons:

  • L1+R1 on the PlayStation
  • LB+R on the Xbox
  • The X key if you’re playing on mouse and keyboard

Remember that when you use the Reinforcement Flares, you will alert your nearby enemies, providing them with your location and your move.  Reinforcement Flares in Warzone 2 can be purchased at any store. Considering this item allows a complete revival, expect a steep price tag.

If you are low on cash, you can find Reinforcement Flares randomly as ground loot or inside crates. The crates that drop in the surroundings, marked with the XP badge, usually contain loot, weaponry, and in some cases, Reinforcement Flares.

Warzone 2 is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
