Tapper and Resources in Stardew Valley
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

After reaching Foraging Level 3 inย Stardew Valley, you will unlock the crafting recipe for a Refining Equipment device known as Tappers. These are primarily used to passively collect resources from trees you find in the wild or grow on your farmstead. To make a Tapper, you will need Wood ร— 40 and Copper Bars ร— 2. By the time you unlock the Tapper recipe, you should have a decent stockpile of Wood at your disposal. Conversely, Copper Bars are made by having a Furnace smelt Copper Ore primarilyย acquired from The Mines or the Quarry.ย
