The annual Minecraft Live event is one of the most exciting weekends of the year for any fan. The event is just right around the corner, and we are all eager to learn what exactly Mojang has in store for us! However, if you find yourself needing any sort of primer before diving in, we’ve got you covered. We’ll go over how you can watch Minecraft Live 2023 and what announcements to expect.
When and Where to View Minecraft Live 2023
The livestream for Minecraft Live 2023 will begin on October 15 at 1 p.m. EST. Mojang has provided us with two official sources for viewing the livestream. The first is, as expected, on the official Minecraft YouTube channel. Alternatively, you can head over to Minecraft.net/live to view it at the source.
Little is known about what will be revealed at the event, but two things are for certain. We know that the big 2024 update will be officially announced in Minecraft Live 2023, along with whatever juicy details they feel like sharing with us. There are plenty of credible rumors on what update 1.21 will entail, such as bundles and ores, but take all of that with a grain of salt- we’ll know soon enough.
Furthermore, we know that the results of the annual Minecraft Live mob vote will be announced at the event. For those out of the loop, it is up to fans to vote on one of three mobs to be added to the game. The current debate is between an armadillo that drops wolf armor, a crab that increases build-reach, and a penguin. That’s right, just a regular old penguin.
Voting opens up at 1 pm EST on October 13 on the official Minecraft website. It only lasts for 48 hours, though, so get out there and make your voice heard!
