Marvel’s upcoming Thanos miniseries promises a head-to-head collision between the Hulk and Thanos. The first issue of the miniseries from Christopher Cantwell and Luca Pizzari kicks off this November. However, the second issue, due in January, shows this epic battle off on its cover. We know that the miniseries follows Thanos as he attempts to resurrect his lost love, Death. Apparently, that trek is going to put the Mad Titan in the path of an angry green man.
Hulk And Thanos At It Again
This upcoming Hulk and Thanos duel is just one in a long line of battles that the Avengers have had with the villain. In fact, many of the battles are considered some of the best in Marvel history. Of course, the best-known is probably the massive Infinity War. This battle expanded beyond the comics and into the MCU.
Now, it looks like Marvel is set to answer the question of who would win in a one-on-one between Hulk and Thanos. The official synopsis for the second issue of the miniseries reveals that a newly banded Illuminati is forced to move against Thanos. This is because his search for Death puts him on the path to destroying Earth. Naturally, the only way you fight an angry giant is with one of your own.
A New Villainous Adventure
This Thanos miniseries follows Thanos as he heads back to Earth to claim his lost love. However, a new Illuminati made of Mr. Fantastic, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Emma Frost, and Blue Marvel is ready to stop him. However, while the Illuminati promise to stop Thanos at all costs, this may be their own doing. As it turns out, the Illuminati are invested in the villain’s quest because they are the ones who hid Death from him in the first place.
Thanos #1 is out on November 8, with the second issue following in January 2024.
