There’s no shortage of Karens in the world. From fraudsters to smug boomers to racists, there seems to be a sharp rise in entitled and overly demanding white women who deem it okay to harass and physically assault the rest of society over comically trivial matters. Case in point, a viral video of a woman harassing employees in a Jack in the Box fast-food chain because the workers forgot her sister’s curly fries is making the rounds on Reddit right now. Be warned that the footage below may be distressing as it contains profanities and violence.
The video footage is recorded from the perspective of one of the customers who witnessed the incident on their phone, and opens at a counter in a Jack in the Box fast-food restaurant. In front of the counter is a woman in a green jumper, black leggings, and black beanie hat, and she is the Karen in question. Leaning over the counter, the irate Karen yells, “Do you f***ing understand me? Okay, I ordered three f***ing combos. You owe me three fries, three curly fries. You left my sister’s s**t out! Fix this s**t or I will blow this whole mother***er up!“
The Karen doesn’t just stop there, however, and continues her tirade: “Do you f***ing understand me? What do you take me for? I don’t give a f*** about you or your f***ing d**m workers!” The verbal abuse isn’t all this Karen can muster, as she also starts throwing signage and objects at the employees behind the counter.
Unfortunately, things continue to escalate as the Jack in the Box staff begin engaging with the Karen in a bid to calm her down, but to no avail. Instead, the Karen gets increasingly more irate and aggressive, culminating in her throwing what appears to be a cash till at the group of employees. Sadly, one of the workers loses his cool and stands on the counter top and begins throwing punches at the Karen before a full on physical altercation breaks out between the staff, the Karen, and presumably the Karen’s entourage. The video ends with an onlooker yelling, “Call the police! Oh my God!”
With over 4.3k upvotes and over 600 comments at the time of writing, the viral clip is drawing a lot of attention from the internet as it continues to circulate around social media platforms. One Redditor declared:

Another commenter reflected on the consequences and the sad reality the employees will likely face after the physical altercation: “Hate to see ppl do this and then the workers will lose their job. My daughter works at McDonald’s. She’s 16 yo and grown adults will treat her like absolute garbage. Cussing at her, etc. makes me sick to see how ppl treat fast food workers.”
A third netizen chimed in writing, “She ended up getting her combos at the end“.
It’s likely that police were called to the incident, though it’s not yet clear what the fallout was from the physical altercation. Hopefully, no-one was injured and no-one needed medical assistance. But from the looks of the video footage, it’s reasonable to assume that the employees of the Jack in the Box who did get violent with the Karen will presumably face disciplinary action.
