About the HyperX CloudX Stinger Core Wireless Gaming Headset
Design/Comfort
With a very simple design displaying the colors of Xbox, this headset feels like many of the other HyperX headsets in this product line. Made with lightweight (weighing just 275 grams) plastic, leatherette memory foam cushions on the earpads, and a metal headband slider, there is a comfort level that definitely withstands the test of time (within reason). Another notable mention is the inability to detach the microphone from the headset.
Connectivity
The connectivity of this headset is one of the better features as there is no adapter required to connect to the Xbox. PC users can use this headset if they purchase (not included) an Xbox dongle.
Compatibility
If you use a variety of consoles and are looking for one headset to use with everything, the HyperX CloudX Stinger Core Wireless Gaming Headset is not your best choice. If you are an avid Xbox gamer, this is definitely one to consider as it is strictly compatible with Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One and, with an Xbox dongle, it can be used on the PC.
Sound/Audio Controls
The HyperX CloudX Stinger Core Wireless comes with a built-in headset chat mixer that allows you to adjust the chat audio levels directly from your headset earcup.

Pricing
At the time of this writing, the HyperX CloudX Stinger Core Wireless Headset prices at $99.99 which means it is in a competitive price range for wireless Xbox headsets.
HyperX CloudX Stinger Core Wireless Gaming Headset for Xbox – Verdict
HyperX has it down to a science with their headsets! This headset provides a lightweight, comfort that sounds good and is offered at a competitive price compared to other Xbox headsets. It is unfortunate that it is not compatible with other consoles but the good news is there are a ton of other headsets out there that can do that for you if that’s a deal-breaker. Also, if a detachable microphone is important to you, this would not be your choice. Overall, another great product from HyperX!
