ICE agents recently went to the parents’ house of a woman from Minnesota after she yelled at them in another location. The presence of immigration agents in Minnesota has grown increasingly tense since early 2026, and this apparent intimidation tactic is the latest in a series of controversies involving ICE in the state.
In a video shared online, a woman can be seen following a group of ICE agents in her car. According to her, the agents ran her license plate after she yelled at them outside a Walmart in an undisclosed location in Minnesota. After the incident, they then drove to Claremont, to her former address, where her parents still live.
As soon as the woman approached the agents in front of the house, one of them walked up to her while she told him she no longer lived there. In an apparent attempt to show they had information about her, the agent called her by name. As they walked away, she called them out: “Do you feel strong?” and went on to call them “race traitors.”
This appeared to anger the agents, who returned and claimed they had been pursuing a child molester when she yelled at them earlier, something the woman did not seem to believe. As the discussion became heated, one ICE agent said that the woman filming the video was the real racist and that she did not care about the victims of molestation. She then accused ICE of targeting innocent people and said she would continue following them, which annoyed them even more.
Internet Reacts to ICE’s Intimidation Tactics in Minnesota
The scenes depicted in the video angered most online viewers, as multiple social media users believed the ICE agents were trying to intimidate the woman. Some people were also annoyed that the agents talked as if they were doing a very important job, but still went a long way just to visit this person’s home and intimidate them, as if they didn’t have anything else to do: “What a waste of tax dollars. I can’t believe this is what they are getting paid to do.”
Some folks made fun of ICE, saying that it was filled with “fragile agents. Maybe they shouldn’t leave the house if so easily triggered.” Others highlighted how lame the agents looked, saying that “face masks have somehow become not the most intimidating anymore. They just signal weak [authoritarians] now.”
