With ICE agents throwing their weight around in Minnesota, more and more far-right supporters were coming out of the woodwork. Among them is far-right influencer Jake Lang. If you don’t know, this guy actually tried to “fight back” against an anti-ICE rally by starting his own event called the “Anti-Fraud” rally, which was really just an anti-Islam, anti-Somali, and pro-ICE demonstration. Only ten people showed up, and Jake Lang got surrounded by a bunch of angry Minnesota residents. One would think this would stop him from causing another incident, but recently, Jake Lang was seen getting kicked out of a Minnesota bar after harassing the staff.
A video spread online showing Jake Lang addressing the staff members of BLVD Kitchen & Bar in Minnesota. In the video, he claimed that he was kicked out of the bar for supporting ICE. A staff member immediately said that wasn’t the case at all. Jake Lang still insisted that it was, loudly insisting they were discriminating against him for supporting ICE and talking about it openly. His companion even dared to shout that they were going to deport everyone there. Jake Lang then claimed that it seemed white people weren’t allowed in the bar.
More staff members appeared, politely asking Jake Lang to leave the Minnesota bar. His companion responded by saying that perhaps they should call the police or better yet call ICE to take care of the illegal immigrant who was the bartender. Jake Lang also got into a spat with a female staff member who told him to stop recording. He argued that he had a First Amendment right to record in public, and the woman retorted that this wasn’t public, it was a private establishment.
Jake Lang and his companion did finally leave the Minnesota bar, though not without loudly complaining about how white liberals were ruining America. When they were outside, they yelled about how they were going to call ICE and deport everyone.
The internet was not happy at all with how Jake Lang was acting at that Minnesota bar. They criticized him and his companion for being childish, obnoxious, and annoying. “Maybe they kicked you out because you’re loud, obnoxious, and probably going to skip out on your bill? Big victim energy,” one user wrote.
Others also found it funny that Jake Lang was so ready to play the victim while waving his First Amendment rights around. “Why does Jake Lang hate property rights? He doesn’t seem very patriotic to me,” one user said. Another added, “Lmao, they actually just gave BLVD more business with this stunt. Way to handle this situation with grace, BLVD. Those white supremacists are not welcome in our state or even the country.”
