U.S. District Judge Amanda K. Brailsford in Idaho just blocked major parts of a new state law that would have required public restrooms to be separated by biological sex. She issued the ruling on Tuesday, saying the law was probably too vague, and gave temporary relief to transgender plaintiffs before the July 1 start date. The decision has sparked strong reactions online, with many calling for her impeachment.

The attached video uses a split-screen format, and in the clip, President Trump discusses transgender issues, stating that “transgender mutilation” should not be listened to by children or parents and that such policies apply “for everyone.”

According to the post, U.S. District Judge Amanda K. Brailsford blocked an Idaho law requiring public restrooms to be separated by sex at birth rather than gender identity. Court records confirm she issued a preliminary injunction Tuesday, ruling the law likely unconstitutionally vague and temporarily blocking criminal penalties for transgender individuals using restrooms consistent with their gender identity. The post pairs the judge’s image with Trump’s remarks to highlight the decision.

Several commenters called for the judge’s immediate impeachment or removal. One wrote, “She definitely needs to be impeached, like today!! Keep biological men out of female bathrooms.”

Another stated, “She is a disgrace to the bench and should be removed immediately. This shit is so exhausting and needs to stop.”

Others criticized the judiciary more broadly or urged congressional action. One user said, “Judges who lack a moral compass and common sense have no business behind the bench. The time to clean house is overdue.”

Another asked, “When is @Jim_Jordan and the @HouseGOP going to hold any of these judges accountable?” A further comment called for “scorched earth, maximum possible penalties enforced, to stop this trend of judges who ignore separation of powers.”

Some raised personal safety concerns tied to the ruling, with one asking how the judge “would rule if she was assaulted in a restroom where she is allowing this.”

The ruling remains in effect as the underlying lawsuit proceeds through federal court. The X post has become part of a larger ongoing debate over judicial decisions on sex-based policies and transgender rights.
