Amy Slaton still has the support of her community despite her huge mistake. The 1000-LB Sisters star was unfortunately arrested on Monday for drug possession and child endangerment charges. While things look grim for the reality star, her fans believe she will pull through.
The Crockett County Sheriff’s Department made Slaton’s arrest while responding to a call about a guest who had reportedly been bitten by a camel at Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo. “Upon arrival, deputies were immediately overtaken by suspicious odors coming from the guest’s vehicle,” a Facebook post detailing the incident read. The reality star was in the vehicle with a man named Brian Scott Lovvorn. Her two children, Gage and Glenn, were also present. It turns out Amy was the one attacked by the camel. While responding to the alleged bite, officers saw “what they believed to be mushrooms” and “what they believed to be marijuana.” Per People Magazine, the drugs were reportedly “in plain sight.”
Slaton and Lovvorn were booked on illegal possession of Schedule I and Schedule VI drugs and two counts of child endangerment. She received onsite medical attention for the bite before being whisked away into custody. Slaton’s two children were placed in the custody of family members. The Tennessee Department of Child Services will reportedly investigate their parenting situation.
