TikTok is filled to the brim with crazy videos of road rage and plenty of other topics. Although in a recently posted TikTok by the account @Bighairbully, viewers get a front row seat to some pretty insane driving. Social media users were in shock at this Illinois driver’s hit-and-run that left behind a really messed-up vehicle. The video currently has over 600,000 views and 51,000 likes as it has officially reached viral status.
The TikTok begins with the person filming the video driving down the street in their car. However, on the horizon, viewers can see that a car accident has just occurred. As the video progresses, the damage becomes more and more clear, but that didn’t seem to stop the Illinois driver from getting a closer look. As the vehicle begins to come to a stop where the wreckage begins, one of the cars begins to move. It’s then that a vehicle that is severely damaged can be seen attempting to flee the scene of the accident. The car can be seen with its back hatch busted open, as well as only having three working wheels.
TikTok Can’t Get Enough of This Illinois Driver
This had prompted the TikTok comment section to begin flaming the driver and their messed-up vehicle. “My car going to Los Santos Costumes,” one joked. “Toyotas really do last,” wrote another. “That looks like no insurance and possibly a warrant to me,” stated a commenter. Finally, one other social media user said, “Never seen a three legged car before.”
It would seem pretty clear that TikTok is not on the hit-and-run driver’s side for this one. On the other hand, it would appear that they had a lot of fun cracking jokes about them in the TikTok’s comment section. As the madness continues, the broken car can be seen driving up around the other totaled vehicles to make its escape. Yet, it is unclear what caused the accident or where the other vehicle’s driver is.
Driving is a privilege, not a right, and committing a hit-and-run is also illegal. While TikTok may never know who or what caused the initial accident, the situation was not handled well at all. There did not seem to be any law enforcement or first responders at the scene either. Hopefully, nobody was injured too horribly in the crash, and the Illinois driver who fled was found. As for the person filming, what a time to just happen to drive up on an accident.
