A group of Texas residents have been caught on camera committing a crime after they looted an Amazon delivery truck in broad daylight.

Footage capturing the act was posted to Facebook. It was recorded from the point of view of a random driver going through that route. The Amazon truck was parked by the side of the highway, possibly because it had broken down. No driver was seen in the clip.

The truck’s back doors were open, showing it was stacked with packages and yellow-colored delivery carts. A man could be seen inside, rummaging through the contents of the vehicle and pushing out the goods. Another woman inside the truck was gathering the parcels inside the yellow cart.

Several goods and delivery containers were on the floor outside the open truck. More people could be seen grabbing the items on the floor for themselves. The culprits were focused on the act and paid no attention to other cars passing by. A lady from the group was spotted taking a container packed with stolen items to her car while another man hauled an entire crate of the stolen items to his vehicle. Before the clip was cut, the camera was zoomed in to show the faces of some of the perpetrators.

The video soon went mainstream, and internet users condemned the crowd for their actions.

“Not a fan of Amazon but also not a fan of thieves,” one netizen wrote. “They’re all going to jail,” another user emphasized.

“Thank the cameraman. You’re the bomb… Stupid people in this world,” slammed this user.

“Yup. F*ck Amazon, but also those people are incredibly trashy,” a third comment read.

A fourth observer lashed at the culprit, writing, “These people are probably the same people who complain they live in the ghetto but are so ignorant that they don’t realize they’re the ones making it ghetto smh.”

This netizen wrote a lengthy paragraph expressing their disapproval of the act: “I hope the guy filming this called the cops, and every single one of them gets arrested. What driver leaves a trailer full of freight? If he broke down, police are supposed to be called until the TOM team gets another driver out there. These people were definitely stealing.”

Others, however, believed the theft was justified because of their anger towards Amazon owner Jeff Bezos.

“I don’t condone these activities however f*ck Bezos,” penned another user.

Currently, there has been no statement from the police investigating the matter, and there has been no reaction from Amazon.
