I remember being a teenager and doing anything and everything possible to try to impress my friends. Whether it was quietly sneaking into a movie theatre or skipping school in between classes, there was no shortage of opportunities to do that. A kid in Indianapolis, Indiana, faced a shocking moment when he crashed his father’s car at a car meet. To make matters worse, the internet was very quick to point out all the expensive details of the vehicle.
The above video shows the aftermath of a crash at an Indiana car meet. At first glance, I thought there was nothing particularly special about the accident. However, when I opened up the comments, I realized that the car had various details about it that imply it will be worth a fortune to repair it. More specifically, one commenter said, “It got worse the more I saw of the car. Not a regular new orange bmw, but a classic, not just a clean classic, but a convertible, not only that but one with gold spokes in the rims oh god buddy it’s over 😭.“
A different video on the exact same account on TikTok shows the moment the accident happened. The teenager was in an empty parking lot at night. Taking advantage of the wide-open space, he decided to take a few friends for a quick ride, drifting through the lot. Unfortunately, he drifted too close to a handrail, resulting in significant damage to the car.
Other commenters were just as brutal, with one saying, “Saw the rims and started praying for lil man 😭,” and another saying, “Kid just wrecked half his inheritance.” All I know is that I wouldn’t want to go back home if this was my dad’s car.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the crash. Reckless driving, regardless of the location, can put both yourself and others at risk. It’s a relief that the only consequence was the car’s total loss.
