Denisse Reyes, who was an influencer and mother visited Mexico for a liposuction procedure recently, but despite the surgery allegedly going well and as planned. However, very soon after, she was moved into intensive care, and shortly after that, went into cardiac arrest and passed away.
At the end of January, Reyes visited the San Pablo Medical Clinic in Tuxtla Gutiérrez to undergo a liposuction procedure, which was performed by Doctor Orlando Gamboa. We later found out that Reyes’ family said Gamboa wasn’t actually supposed to be performing the surgery himself, even though he did.
Reyes’ uncle, Ammao Rodriguez said that the surgeon had given her a medication after surgery that her body’s didn’t respond well to, and shortly after, her heart stopped beating. Reyes was transferred to another hospital, since there wasn’t an intensive care unit at San Pablo Medical Clinic, where she died. As of right now, Doctor Orlando Gamboa hasn’t made any comment on the situation.
While fans are deeply upset by the results of her surgery and the death of a beloved influencer, others took to the comments under a post by The US Sun and were more irritated with the influencer than heartbroken over her death.
She left her son without a mother because of her vanity. So sad for that little boy. How can parents put their self consciousness before their child?
Another commenter replied quickly, stating, “Vanity is a sin… and like you said she wasn’t thinking of her child/children and now they don’t have a mom bc she wanted to be fake!!” More commenters piled in to share their thoughts on the matter. “Why do women keep risking their lives for these stupid procedures? Just love the body God gave you! This is tragic and so avoidable.” Another said, “STOP trying to be something you are not… be happy with how God made you and if you are not, exercise and eat healthy and look and be your best naturally.”
Luckily, some fans chimed in with some positive prayers for the family and broken hearts.
This has happened so many times that it’s unbelievable that people still go to Mexico of all countries for any kind of enhancements… They are not equipped with the tools necessary for safe surgeries… Specially the plastic surgeons.. People be aware… Check the doctors reviews… spend extra and get t done in the USA..
