TikTok, as well as other social media apps, has become a great tool for watching pretty much any kind of content. However, one of the more popular pieces of media on platforms like that are public freak-out videos. While shopping can sometimes be a stressful situation for some, these Alabama women completely crossed the line at their local Dollar General. A recently posted TikTok by the account @top.notch.emrpess shows the entire altercation as social media users respond to these rude customers and how they “Bully” this worker.
The TikTok begins with a woman waiting in the checkout line at a Dollar General store. However, the line is noticeably long and moving fairly slowly. This would be due to the two Alabama women at the front of the line, causing a major scene. It’s then that viewers can hear a verbal altercation taking place between the woman working the counter and the two customers. While it is unknown what caused the original issue, it’s clear that things are escalating quickly. Yet, the woman recording would then decide that it was time for her to jump in.
Rude Alabama Women Get Called Out By TikTok Users
The woman immediately takes the employee’s side in this, with many others in the line following suit. The text on the video also reads, “POV: You have a hidden talent of being elegantly messy and antagonizing groups of random people.” The comments under the video overwhelmingly loved this way of thinking, as they pretty much all sided with the employee as well. “I like that y’all verbally threw tomatoes at them,” wrote one. “Public shame is the best,” pointed out another. Finally, one comment read, “Not everybody jumping in!” It seems pretty clear that TikTok is not rocking with the two rude Alabama women on this one. The woman recording can also be heard telling them that they are “Wasting everybody’s time.”
As the TikTok continues, the line of people seems to be just as fed up as the employee. However, the two women up front are insistent that they start an argument. They even begin to tell the line as well as the woman recording to stay out of it. While the disagreement would last a few moments longer, the employee finally put her foot down. She claimed that she will not be selling them any items, and that they can take it up with her manager whenever they want to come back.
Being unnecessarily rude to a retail or service industry employee is just uncalled for, especially during the holiday season. Hopefully, these two Alabama Dollar General Karens have learned a lot from this experience and can grow because of it. As for the people in line, they luckily had this employee’s back.
