In the last few months, much has been said about the country’s political atmosphere since Trump’s election. It’s often been a lot of liberals and Democrats heavily criticising Trump, for ICE, his up and down tariffs, and most of his policies here and abroad. One major point of contention was the infamous Epstein files. In light of the recent drama, where the case was declared closed and the Epstein list all of a sudden doesn’t exist, an old video of Bill Clinton has resurfaced, and folks online were pretty horrified by his apparent lack of remorse about his association with the infamous predator.
In a post shared on the PublicFreakout Reddit page by user Lavender_Scales, a video from a 2022 rally in Laredo, Texas, has gone viral, featuring surveillance footage of Epstein and the recent mysteries surrounding the controversial figure. It’s often Trump who is associated with Epstein, but this video ensures that everybody knows it isn’t just Donald who was known to associate with him. Juan Mendoza Diaz, the journalist at the event, had asked him about Epstein and his connection to him. After a long silence, Bill Clinton gives an absolutely devilish, wry smile and says the following.
I think the evidence is clear.
This video has gone viral, and many folks online, many who accused Trump of associating with Epstein, were also throwing Clinton under the bus. Here is what some folks had to say about his devious smile and quote.
“Yes, itโs pretty clear they could all be implicated. But the swamp is now an even bigger one. Trump is the king of the swamp. What a timeline.”
“This whole post is trying to distract people from trump obviously being on the list. Trump, who is a sitting president.”
“Jesus christ….does this mean there really is a Clinton Crime Family? Are they all in on it?”
“No remorse in those eyes.”
“The look he gives him moments later is equally haunting. Also the dude who comes up beside bill, goes through a range of emotion while also looking at this guy like bills gonna have him killed for asking that.”
Some conservative folks have been pointing at the video and speaking of the hypocrisy that exists in liberal online spaces, and that they should look inwards at their figures before casting stones at Trump. One thing is clear: nobody associated with Epstein is somebody anybody should admire.
