There will always be a new insane story about a Florida man doing something that truly only happens in Florida. However, it’s always great when a video is attached that helps show the insanity of what people really mean when they say ‘Florida Man.’
A bystander in Palm Beach County was witness to the moment a man tried to flee from having his car repossessed, only to land himself in an even tighter situation. Even though more people are being nosy than there are helping, it’s great to know that someone was on the phone with the police to ensure they were on their way.
The above video was posted to the TikTok channel @mandah88, which belongs to a woman named Amanda Hood. While her videos are typically of her and her friends, this one is completely off the wall. It shows a car in a Palm Beach County shopping center called Pier Park driving over the sidewalk and into a pole directly in front of one of the shops.
Apparently, the man driving the red sedan that smashed into the store was going to be towed and didn’t want that to happen. After finding that he was unable to move himself from where he crashed, he decided to get out and casually walk over to the tow truck driver and argue with him. By this point, various bystanders were also there to stick around for the police to show up.
According to the video’s caption, “Poor guy just didn’t want his car repossessed. He said he was just trying to reverse 🫣his car while they were attaching it to the tow truck. I’m sorry sir that looks like you were in drive and trying to escape via the side walk. Today was not his day.“
Regardless of how the man might have felt, doing what he did could have put a lot of people in danger.

Commenters were all just as curious to know what had happened, with many noting the driver’s lack of embarrassment after what he’d done. While the video keeps going, you can hear someone in the background calling the police and detailing everything that happened. Hopefully, no one was injured as a result of this, and any damage was paid out by the insane man.
