Empty streets at night come with their own batch of surprises. You might end up with someone chasing you, or witness groups of people attack one another for a reason that’s certainly not worth battering each other up. On one occasion in San Diego, a fight scene is captured on camera, showcasing a brutal brawl on the street where one of the participants seems to be severely injured.
In a recent video uploaded in the r/PulicFreakout on Reddit, we see two men and a woman confronting a group of people. While the reason behind the fight is not part of the description, “egos and alcohol” are what the cameraman and probably anyone witnessing such a scene would assume it to be. The brawl begins when the woman starts yelling at one of the opposing group members, and then a man named “Michael” goes down with multiple blows.
“Prayers up for Michael. His face was busted open, and he could lose an eye/eyesight.” That’s all the context the user capturing the scene has added to the post. The details on this matter are not visible on the clip due to the distance it was captured, which is approved by one user, saying, “This is how people should record a crime. From a safe distance, not running up into people’s faces with a camera and becoming part of the scene.” That I agree with.
The brutal brawl in the San Diego clip continues with the rest of the group members taking down the remaining man. “Super alphas there, 3 against 1 at the end and they could barely handle him.” Thankfully, the cameramen have given this clip to the police, and “they set up BOLOs for those guys immediately.”
As of right now, there is no official information on this matter published by the San Diego Police Department.
