Nothing sucks more than already having a long day at work and then getting even more stressed by someone who wants to be a nuisance. A grandpa in the Delray Beach Community of Florida went all Hulk on a worker’s leaf blower just because he got grass on his car. A video on TikTok, taken by a witness from across the parking lot, captured the disturbing sight of the old man stomping on the leaf blower multiple times before kicking it aside.
“What the [expletive] is this guy doing? He’s just doing his job,” one of the bystanders commented, explaining the gardener was only working. The grandpa could be seen wagging his finger at the worker and complaining to some people who were defending him, obviously not satisfied after damaging the leaf blower.
The woman behind the camera explained that the worker could not even say anything because he did not speak English. One woman who appeared to have come with the grandpa said, “He blew dirt on my car,” justifying his actions. “Well, then, get him to blow it off,” one bystander rationalized.
The man and woman standing with the worker explained that the dirt was not a big deal and could be resolved with a simple $20 wash. Immediately, the grandpa responded, “Then give me the $20!” and shamelessly accepted it when it was given. “He wants to fight with everyone,” the woman behind the camera noted when the senior citizen walked right into the face of the man standing by the worker, even standing on tiptoes to talk to him.
“You took the $20? You’re a jerk off,” one bystander accused, as the grandpa and the woman he came with walked off to their car. “Do you need more money for that?” the woman behind the camera asked sarcastically.
Just like the bystanders, netizens were appalled by the man’s actions. “What a [expletive] psycho. Imagine what he is like behind closed doors if he acts like this in public,” one wrote. Another added, “These types of people feel empowered to act like this, and they expect no consequences due to this administration.” Many users agreed with them. “Trump’s behaviour allows people to be their worst,” one wrote, and another added, “Until these scumbags get put in their place, this will continue. Donny has allowed the worst among us to act with impunity.”
One TikToker lamented, “Our American quality of life now.” Another one wrote, “Turn off Fox News, grandpa. This day laborer isn’t the one who destroyed the country. It’s your generation that enabled terrible policies like trickle-down economics.” A netizen said, “Amazing. The old white guy doesn’t seem smart at all. It wasn’t a big deal. Going after immigrants isn’t going to make America great. It is a con by a con man.” Another agreed, “SMH. It’s always them. Who told them they were supreme or better than anyone else?”
One user said, “Thank you to all those who stopped and defended this guy. I bet you he’s been working all day, walking with 100-pound blowers in the back. It’s not easy.” Some netizens suggested consequences. “Now, a judge needs to let him keep the $20 and put his [expletive] in jail for 30 days,” one wrote. Another said, “Pretty simple. Get this idiot’s license plate number and make him replace the blower. These [expletive] racists need to start having consequences for their actions.”
Honest workers are being harassed by people, and that’s not supposed to be normal. However, The Nerd Stash reported that a similar incident played out in Nebraska.
