Those in the customer service field are susceptible to rudeness from many people. Sometimes, these workers don’t even do a thing and suffer a lot for no apparent reason. A recent situation that occurred in Miami, Florida, illustrates this, as one irate customer knocked down a waiter’s tray full of plates. One would think that the waiter did something to anger the customer, but that was not the case. The restaurant came forward to give their version of the story, and it turns out this client was already angry when he arrived.
Redditor AtheistArab99 shared the clip on the r/AbrupChaos Subreddit. In the video, we can observe a waiter carrying a huge tray full of plates at a seafood restaurant in Miami, when, out of nowhere, a customer storms out of the building, knocking down the tray. The waiter stood still momentarily, trying to make sense of the situation while the angered customer left the premises. At a glance, one would assume that the client was angry at something that happened inside the establishment. However, the restaurant’s owner shared their version of the story with WSVN.
According to Luis Garcia, the restaurant’s owner, the customer’s angered behavior began before he knocked down the tray. Apparently, the client walked into the restaurant acting strangely. He blew through a line of people and sat on a table without waiting for the hostess to take him there. Naturally, the staff asked him to leave, and the man started yelling at the manager before leaving the restaurant and knocking the tray over. At this moment, the staff had already called the police. Some Redditors said the following regarding the matter:
“Glad it was caught on cam so it isn’t pinned on the poor server.” – supersondos via Reddit.
“Some people are just down awful for no reason” – FlexFeliciano via Reddit.
Sadly, the perpetrator is still on the run. The restaurant and other media urge people to call the Miami PD if they have any information about the man.
