A startling scene unfolded at a Texas Popeyes when a customer was caught on camera having a wild meltdown while yelling, “Arriva Trump!” It’s unclear what sparked the outburst, but a bystander inside the restaurant recorded the footage, which is now circulating online.
The video takes place in front of a Popeyes counter in South Dallas, as revealed in the video’s caption. The male customer, who is wearing a black short-sleeved shirt, black trousers, and black crocs, can be seen holding a large black icebox. Straightaway, he’s yelling at a female employee behind the counter, and repeatedly shouting, “Arriva Trump!“
The irate customer then begins banging the icebox with his hand in an aggressive manner. He appears to be yelling in Spanish, making it difficult to discern what he’s saying. Moments later, he pushes over what appears to be a large container of iced tea, spilling it across the floor. He continues yelling and actually almost slips in the mess that he’s made. After some further shouting and commotion off-screen, the clip comes to an end.
Naturally, the internet had plenty to say about the angry Popeyes patron and most users weren’t too impressed with his outburst. Over on Reddit, one user chimed in with, “Notice it’s always the [expletive] yelling let’s go trump..” while another added, “Trump will happily deport both of them, no questions asked. The logic of being a minority and supporting him is insane.” Meanwhile, a third commenter noticed the fact that the man almost slipped in the tea that he’d spilt, penning, “He came so close to slipping on that tea.” A fourth added, “If that is sweet tea that is gonna suck to clean. Feel bad for that poor worker.“
While no one appeared to be hurt during the confrontation, the clip highlights how quickly a routine fast-food visit can escalate, and how disruptive unnecessary outbursts can impact everyone around them.
