Sadly, things are getting worse in many parts of this world, and our future, which is supposed to be the youth, is going from bad to worse. There are more and more cases showing that teenagers or even children have committed atrocious actions. As in this Reddit video in which an Irish teenager threatened a man while they were traveling by bus in Dublin. The worst thing is that this is not an isolated case, and it’s urgent to create protective measures.

Redditor RemnantOfSpotOn reposted on r/TikTokCringe a video from citybanter’s Instagram that went very viral. The video starts with a boy arguing with a man, but soon, the situation escalates when the kid continues to taunt the man, who briefly grabs the boy by the jacket. Then, the Irish teenager quickly pulled a screwdriver out of his jacket and threatened the man while yelling, swearing, growling, and ordering the older to get off the bus. The video cuts out, and the boy appears seated again, showing off his other tools, a pair of tweezers. In the end, nothing happened after the altercation, but the comments mention that this is not uncommon in Dublin.

Typical teenage from that region. They are only brave in a group or with equipment. Anyone who has been to Ireland or Great Britain and had dealings with them is not laughing in a circus.

Gankpa

Users also agreed that this behavior happens everywhere. However, many shared their bad experiences with these groups of teenagers in Ireland. The sad thing is, that’s not the worst of it.

Carrying a screwdriver as a weapon should be made as punishable as having a knife. I know these are kids and nothing will be done. but his juvenile record should include attempted assault with a deadly weapon

Even the OP responded to this comment by saying that these two tools that the teenager was carrying can indicate that he may be involved in other criminal acts, such as messing up the vehicles of others. Sadly, sometimes there are no consequences or very mild ones for these teenagers because they are young. We need a change to prevent more criminals from being on the streets by intervening when they are kids.
