Many recent games launched on Game Pass, allowing players to try out multiple titles as soon as they release. Microsoft and Blizzard have been working closely since Microsoft has been trying to acquire Activision Blizzard in 2022. Fans want to know if Diablo 4 will make it to Microsoft’s Game Pass.
Can You Play Diablo 4 on the Xbox’s Game Pass?
Diablo 4 did not launch as an Xbox exclusive and got released for PlayStation and PC as well. The intention was always to release Diablo 4 on several platforms, even before the Microsoft acquisition. However, non-Xbox exclusive titles have made their way onto the Xbox Game Pass, so fans still believe Diablo 4 will come to the Game Pass service.
Unfortunately for Diablo fans, the game is not on Game Pass. Diablo 4 producer Rod Fergusson confirmed that the development team has no plans for Diablo 4 to come to Game Pass at launch.
Nonetheless, Game Pass always adds new titles to its subscription library. Diablo 4 may make its way onto the Game Pass at a later date. Nevertheless, the game is unavailable on the subscription service at the time of this writing. The only way to play the title is by purchasing the full game digitally or physically.

Diablo 4 is an action role-playing game with a top-down perspective. Gamers get to pick between five warrior classes and trek through a fantastical world with monsters and other unholy creatures. The game has procedurally generated dungeons, making each dungeon different for every player. The title can only be played by buying the game’s Standard, Deluxe, or Ultimate Editions.
