Dragon’s Dogma 2 promises to build upon its predecessor and offer what may very well be a new standard for the genre, no matter if you’re looking at its character creation depth or its overall presentation and gameplay. Can the Steam Deck Run Dragons Dogma 2?

Until the game debuts, there’s no way to know. However, the consensus among most Steam Deck owners seems to be that even if the game receives the support, its high-end requirements will prove to be a trial by fire for the Valve handheld.

A statement by Reddit user ThaSwampDonkey, in a thread on rSteamDeck, helps illustrate that. In the thread, the user revealed that the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Character Creator & Storage ran at around 30 FPS on the handheld for them, with its performance dropping to the 20s while moving or zooming. For those looking to make their own conclusions regarding the performance, you can currently download the creator on your Steam Deck by heading to it’s page on Steam.
