Does Joshua Die in Final Fantasy 16?
It is safe to say Final Fantasy 16 has one of the most breathtaking starts in recent games. The first hours of the game are filled with a lot of action and important plot sequences. Once the clash between them is over, only Clive remains and this rises the question of whether Joshua is dead in Final Fantasy 16.

The reason Joshua left Clive and didn’t tell him anything was to save him. Clive was targeted by Ultima as a host that could steal the powers of Eikons and reshape them. Joshua first saw this when they fought and then decided to stay hidden for the safety of Clive until he was powerful enough to help him.
