Nightingale has settled into an interesting niche among survival games, from its bizarre character creator to its fascinating world traversal. It’s also capable of giving players a visually impressive set of realms to explore, but it’s currently only on the PC platform. Is Nightingale coming to Xbox, Game Pass, or other consoles in the future?
Is Nightingale Releasing on Xbox in the Future?
There are currently no plans to bring Nightingale to Xbox, but that can always change. The game is in Early Access on PC, and playable on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game dropped on Early Access on February 20, 2024. It’s had a reasonable concurrent player count on Steam since its release, peaking at 47,569 players upon release.
The game is a relaxing take on the survival genre but has not been without its odd visual inconsistencies and online issues. Surprisingly, Nightingale isn’t available on Xbox, especially as their Game Preview feature allows the masses to enjoy similar games in Early Access (like Palworld).
Will Nightingale Come to Xbox Game Pass?
Nightingale is currently not planned for Xbox or PC Game Pass. There is nothing even in recent statements to suggest there are plans for a console release. Whether it joins the Game Pass library is another matter, but with other survival games like Palworld thriving, it’s a decent value proposition.
Will Nightingale Come to Other Consoles?
There are no plans to bring Nightingale to other platforms, but it’s seemingly not written out entirely. The game’s official FAQ lists Nightingale as currently on PC only in response to the question of available platforms.
Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles will have no trouble handling the game. However, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 players shouldn’t hold their breath. For Nintendo fans, there’s always hope for the next platform to handle games like this, when it eventually drops.
